Airspace Closures Disrupt Flights, Travel Time Increases

Washington (Monitoring Desk): Due to rising tensions in the Middle East, air travel has been significantly affected, with several international airlines avoiding certain air routes over security concerns.

According to sources, many flights are now forced to take alternative and longer routes, resulting in increased travel time and higher fuel costs.

Aviation authorities stated that routes for Pakistan’s flights have also been adjusted, with aircraft now avoiding specific airspaces and using safer alternatives.

As a result of these new routes, flights from Gulf cities to Pakistan have experienced noticeable increases in duration, with some journeys taking more than an hour and a half longer than usual.

Experts believe that ongoing regional tensions are impacting not only air travel but also the global economy, and these challenges may persist until the situation stabilizes.
