Lahore (Showbiz Desk): Senior Pakistani actor Faisal Qureshi has responded in his signature humorous style to not receiving the prestigious Sitara-e-Imtiaz, drawing attention on social media.
During an interview, when asked whether he might receive the honor soon, he jokingly said he might stand outside a supermarket named “Imtiaz” and complain that he isn’t getting a “Sitara.”
The actor shared that his name has been nominated twice for the award but has not yet been approved, despite his 33-year-long career in the entertainment industry.
When asked about the possible reason, he laughed and remarked that perhaps he has a “calcium deficiency,” which is why he is being overlooked—prompting laughter during the program.
