Iran Claims Enemy F-15 Shot Down by Missile Near Hormuz

Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Iran’s armed forces have claimed that an enemy F-15 fighter jet entering the country’s southern airspace was targeted.

According to a report by Press TV, Iran’s Joint Air Defense Command stated that the hostile aircraft near Hormuz Island was disabled using a missile, and investigations are ongoing to gather further details about the F-15.

Iranian forces previously claimed to have targeted six other enemy aircraft, three within Iranian airspace and the others over Kuwait. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also recently claimed to have targeted an Israeli F-16 fighter jet within Iran’s central airspace using advanced aerial defense systems.

The statement added that more than 200 enemy aerial targets, including drones, cruise missiles, and fighter jets, have been targeted during the ongoing conflict.
