Karachi (Showbiz Desk) – Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan shared an interesting revelation with her fans during a conversation on a private TV program.
During a question-and-answer session, she was asked that when the entire country admires her, who is her favorite person? Smiling, the actress replied that her husband is her favorite, which drew a warm and lively response from the audience.
During the discussion, Mahira Khan also spoke openly about the issues faced by the showbiz industry. She said that artists should be fairly compensated according to their work, as is the practice in other countries around the world.
She added that she does not want the local industry to operate exactly like foreign film industries, but at least it should ensure that no artist has to face financial difficulties. According to her, senior artists somehow manage, but new artists and technical staff continue to face serious challenges.
In response to another question, the actress said that she prefers Eid-ul-Fitr over Eid-ul-Adha.
Speaking about fellow actor Fahad Mustafa, Mahira Khan revealed that she had first gifted him a pair of glasses and later a pair of slippers.
