Washington (Monitoring Desk) – The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has confirmed the damage caused by an attack on Iran’s nuclear facility in Khondab.
According to the agency, Iran reported the attack on March 27. The IAEA stated that the affected plant is currently inactive and contained no declared nuclear material, significantly reducing the risk of a major nuclear incident.
Meanwhile, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said that IAEA experts should inform the U.S. President about the ground realities. He added that the American public is frustrated with Israel’s narrative and tired of current policies, which, in their view, are influenced by Israeli interests. According to the Iranian president, the situation has further escalated political and diplomatic tensions at the global level.
