Tehran (Monitoring Desk) – Iran has put forward six key strategic conditions to end the ongoing conflict, which are being considered part of a new legal and security framework.
According to Iranian media, a senior official, speaking on condition of anonymity, stated that various regional countries and mediators had offered proposals to Iran regarding a ceasefire, to which Iran responded with its own clear conditions.
The official outlined Iran’s conditions as follows:
- Clear and enforceable guarantees that the war will not resume.
- Closure of U.S. military bases in the region.
- Withdrawal of aggressor forces and compensation to Iran for war damages.
- Complete cessation of hostilities across all regional fronts.
- Implementation of a new legal regime for the Strait of Hormuz.
- Legal action against anti-Iran media activities and expulsion of involved elements.
According to Iran, these measures form part of a comprehensive legal and security framework aimed at establishing sustainable peace in the region and preventing future conflicts.
