Netanyahu Urged Former US Presidents to Attack Iran: Former US Official

Washington (Monitoring Desk): A former US official has revealed that Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly urged American presidents across different periods to carry out military strikes against Iran.

According to media reports, the former White House official stated that Netanyahu approached Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden regarding this matter.

The official noted that Israel has long considered Iran’s nuclear program a major threat, which is why Netanyahu consistently pressured the United States to take military action.

However, successive US administrations refrained from direct attacks due to concerns that such a move could trigger a large-scale war in the Middle East, disrupt the global economy, and affect oil supplies.

Instead, former US leadership preferred diplomatic solutions, including measures like the nuclear agreement with Iran, aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
