Islamabad (Commerce Desk): Finance Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb stated that the government’s top priority is to ensure uninterrupted supply of petroleum products in the country while keeping the burden on the public as low as possible.
Speaking at a video-link meeting of the Petroleum Prices Monitoring Committee, chaired by him, he noted that despite global market uncertainties, petroleum supply in Pakistan remains stable. He attributed this stability to timely planning and effective coordination among relevant institutions.
The meeting included a detailed review and briefing on regional tensions, fluctuations in global prices, national reserves, import arrangements, and the overall supply chain situation.
