Washington (Monitoring Desk): The ongoing conflict against Iran is proving costly for United States, with approximately $12 billion spent so far. US officials have also indicated plans to intensify attacks.
Kevin Hassett revealed on the American TV program Face the Nation that the US has spent around $12 billion in the war against Iran, which began on February 28.
The program host, Margaret Brennan, noted that over $5 billion had been spent on weapons alone during the first week of the conflict. However, Kevin Hassett was unable to provide a definitive answer to this question.
