Rawalpindi (Pakistan News) – The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has extended the interim bail of accused Bushra Bibi in the November 26 protest case until April 9.
The hearing was conducted by ATC Judge Amjad Ali Shah, during which Bushra Bibi’s lawyer Faisal Malik appeared in court. The defense counsel requested that Bushra Bibi be included in the investigation of all cases, as the police had not yet listed her for investigation in any of the cases.
The court ordered that she be included in the investigation of 29 cases in the presence of her husband and legal representatives.
Meanwhile, the ATC adjourned the hearing of the GHQ attack case without proceedings until April 7. During the session, the video link system between Adiala Jail and the court was not functional, preventing the hearing from progressing. The court instructed that the system be operational for the next hearing.
Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed and Shireen Mazari also appeared in court, while other accused continued to attend as per procedure.
