Lahore (Sports Desk): Pakistan’s young player Mahnoor Ali has secured a place in the final of the International Junior Squash Championship.
In the semifinal of the event being held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Mahnoor Ali defeated Asia’s top seed, Singapore’s Jacinta Han, in a tough contest by 3-2 games.
Hailing from Peshawar and the youngest among the Ali sisters, Mahnoor displayed excellent performance to reach the final and now has her eyes set on the title.
On the other hand, her elder sister Sehrish Ali was knocked out of the tournament after losing 3-1 to Malaysia’s Muhammad Khairunnizam Miesarah in the semifinal.
