Riyadh (Sports Desk): Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo delivered an outstanding performance, playing a key role in Al-Nassr’s 5-2 victory over Al-Najma.
Ronaldo scored two goals during the match; however, more than his performance, a particular moment went viral on social media when he was seen saying “Bismillah” before taking a penalty.
He converted the penalty in the 56th minute to make the score 3-2, and later added another goal in the 73rd minute to further strengthen his team’s lead.
Following this impressive performance, Ronaldo’s career goal tally has reached 967, bringing him closer to the historic milestone of 1,000 goals.
This is not the first time he has used Islamic phrases; previously, he also used the word “InshaAllah” while speaking about his future goals at an event.
Various speculations are circulating on social media regarding this, but no confirmation has been provided by Ronaldo or his close sources.
