Armed Forces Extend Heartfelt Greetings on 86th Pakistan Day

Islamabad (Pakistan News): On the occasion of the 86th Pakistan Day, Chief of Defence, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu extended heartfelt congratulations to the people of Pakistan.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military leadership said that March 1940 marks a significant milestone in Pakistan’s history, when the national vision became clear and paved the way for the creation of an independent homeland. It is a day that reflects the nation’s unwavering resolve and hope.

The leadership further stated that, by the grace of Allah, Pakistan is progressing under the banner of democracy while upholding the principles of Islam. The armed forces remain committed, with firm resolve and divine guidance, to protecting national security, strengthening democratic institutions, and ensuring the welfare of citizens.

Despite challenges from terrorism and extremism, the armed forces, together with the public and law enforcement agencies, remain vigilant and steadfast in safeguarding the country. Pakistan’s armed forces reaffirm their commitment to defending the nation’s sacred borders, preserving sovereignty, and maintaining internal security against all forms of aggression and terrorism.
