Dubai (Sports Desk) – World No. 1 tennis star Aryna Sabalenka showcased outstanding performance as she defeated Coco Gauff to claim the Miami Open title for the second consecutive year.
In the Women’s Singles final in Miami, Sabalenka overcame Gauff in a thrilling contest with scores of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. The Belarusian player comfortably took the first set, but the American star made a strong comeback in the second. In the decisive third set, Sabalenka regained control to secure victory.
With this triumph, Sabalenka not only retained her title but also achieved the “Sunshine Double,” winning both the Indian Wells Open and Miami Open in the same season – a feat accomplished by only a select few in tennis history. Meanwhile, Coco Gauff put up an impressive fight but could not clinch the title on her home ground.
