London (Sports Desk): England’s Test captain Ben Stokes described the period following England’s 1-4 loss to Australia in the Ashes series as the most challenging phase of his captaincy.
Writing an open letter to fans on social media, Stokes expressed his full confidence in head coach Brendon McCullum and managing director Rob Key.
Stokes stated that while captaincy is an honor, it comes with challenges, and the past three months have tested him in many ways. However, he emphasized that he has learned a great deal from these experiences and is determined to work closely with McCullum and Key to lead the team forward.
