Rawalpindi (Pakistan Khabar): Security forces killed 13 terrorists supported by India’s proxy, Fitna al-Khawarij, during two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 10 terrorists were eliminated in Operation Barda in Khyber, and 3 terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Bannu. Several terrorist hideouts were destroyed during the operations.
The army spokesperson stated that under the nationwide “Azm-e-Istiqamat” drive against terrorism, operations continue with increased crackdowns against India-backed terrorists.
President Asif Ali Zardari praised the successful operations, emphasizing the nation’s unwavering resolve to eliminate terrorism backed from abroad. Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif also lauded the security forces and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the professionalism of the security forces and assured the nation that terrorists and their backers would not be spared.
