Islamabad (Pakistan News) – Pakistan has made a key diplomatic offer to potentially host talks between Iran and United States, stating that Islamabad is ready to provide a platform for discussions at all levels if both parties agree.
Foreign Office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andarabi told the media that Pakistan has always played a role in promoting regional peace, and hosting negotiations between Iran and the U.S. would be a matter of honor.
In response to a question, he clarified that no formal talks are confirmed at present, but Islamabad is, in principle, prepared to host such efforts. He reiterated the same position in statements to international media.
Meanwhile, Iran has denied reports of ongoing negotiations, while U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that a 15-point agreement had been reached through recent contacts, further complicating the situation.
Earlier, Israeli media suggested that a high-level meeting between U.S. and Iranian officials could potentially take place in Islamabad, though no official confirmation has emerged. According to international sources, Pakistan is actively engaged in behind-the-scenes diplomacy, facilitating communications between the two countries, raising hopes for a reduction in regional tensions.
